Oct 2025 Litter Announcement! Ready to go home Dec 2025 – Jan 2026

We just welcomed a litter of 6 German Shepherd puppies on Oct 24, who will be ready to go to their forever homes roughly between Dec 20, 2025 – Jan 16, 2026 once they are between 8-12 weeks old and fully weaned. Puppies can be picked up in Anchorage, AK. Limited puppies (1-2) can be brought to St. Louis MO or Reno-Tahoe at the end of Dec for an additional fee covering the cost of flying with the puppy and care for the duration of travel.

About Us

Welcome to our page! I’m Mirta Olert, our dog-centered family has lived in Anchorage, Alaska since 1999. We started our German Shepherd adventure with Atari from Chinook Valley Farm in 2019. Atari is special dog. He’s a trained service dog, International Champion, AKC Champion, and a beloved family companion. Atari’s temperament and intelligence made him an ideal candidate for service dog training and he loves his job. His temperament and success as a service dog inspired limited breeding to share some of what makes him so special with others looking for a companion or working dog.

We are a small operation. We only breed dogs who have been thoroughly tested for genetic health to produce family, companion, service, working, obedience, and protection dogs. Our females (Ana and Kali) also come from Chinook Valley Farm. Our dogs are family members first, it’s a bonus to breed limited, high quality litters.

We mindfully place puppies in homes that will suit their emerging personalities and the needs of their new families the best. This involves third-party personality tests early on to assess puppy aptitude for service and working dog roles. We are committed to placing puppies in homes where they will thrive.
